New GEVO at Night
Title:  New GEVO at Night
Description:  UP 2564, a new C45AH built in May of 2015, sits overnight at the Texas City Terminal Railway's Yard in Texas City, TX, which is about 40 miles southeast of Houston. The crew left the nose light of the UP 2564 lit, so it washed out the nose of the unit in this long exposure.

UP 8222 Leads the Texas Eagle (Euzzy)
Title:  UP 8222 Leads the Texas Eagle (Euzzy)
Description:  I regret that my focus didn't play nice, but I'm still happy I was able document this. In mid-January 2017, Amtrak's northbound Texas Eagle #22 broke down at Big Sandy, TX (about 110 miles east of Dallas) and UP had to send a locomotive Ko rescue it. Eventually UP 8222 came to the rescue and brought the train to its next stop of Longview (15 miles east of Big Sandy), arriving 4 hours and 39 minutes late. UP 8222 stayed with the train until St Louis, where another Amtrak unit replaced it. The train eventually mrrived in Chicago 6 hours and 23 minutes late.
